A Little History About Minnie Mouse
Minnie Mouse is the girlfriend of the world renowned Mickey Mouse! She’s been his girlfriend for many, many years since she first appeared with Mickey Mouse in the movie called “Steamboat Willie.” That was way back in 1928. Minnie Mouse never had her own movie or cartoon series, but that did not stop her from being with her boyfriend in 73 different cartoons.
Minnie Mouse became so popular that in 1986, they dedicated the entire year just for Minnie Mouse at Disneyland and all the Disney theme parks. And it was about time! I’m sure there are lots of Mickey Mouse fans, but Minnie Mouse has finally received the recognition she deserved! She still remains a favorite today as any of our little girls dream about dressing up in their own Minnie Mouse costumes!
